There are 15 gray wolves in Tulare County’s Yowlumni pack that are at risk of sarcoptic mange. Mange is caused by a parasitic mite and is highly contagious to other animals, including dogs.

Then, they hope to release them back where they were captured. It should be noted that treatment of foxes with sarcoptic mange is restricted to permitted wildlife rehabilitators in New Jersey.
