After a thrilling finish to Saturday night's game, the West Virginia Mountaineers were awarded the luxury of rest Sunday afternoon, watching Kentucky and regional host Clemson square off in an elimination game.

Kentucky Wildcats baseball lost a large lead late in an NCAA Tournament regional game vs. West Virginia that lasted more than four and a half hours.

Kentucky put the hammer down on the Clemson tigers Sunday afternoon, eliminating the regional hosts 16-4. Kentucky’s Nate Harris pitched six innings, allowed six hits and three runs, and threw seven strikeouts.
