Colossal Biosciences revealed its small pack of genetically modified dire wolves. The company's "de-extinction" plans include the woolly mammoth.

The three wolves – named Romulus, Remus and Khaleesi – live in a private facility and have reportedly grown as big as 80 pounds. But since the trio were bred using gray wolves’ genome, some experts say the animals are not full dire wolves.

The company that claims to have "resurrected" the dire wolf has its sights set on the woolly mammoth, dodo bird and Tasmanian tiger.
