Aardman and Mattel are teaming up to co-develop a brand-new stop motion 3D animated television series featuring Pingu.

Aardman and Mattel has announced a collaboration that will lead to the creation of a stop-motion animated Pingu series. It will be co-developed by Aardman chief creative director Sarah Cox and Alan Thorpe, as well as Sidney Clifton, Rob David, and Melanie Shannon from Mattel.

Pingu is inspired by the cheeky penguin who lives in the South Pole and remained on our screens for decades, famous for his mischief and catchphrase, "Noot Noot!"
