Over 300 flights were delayed at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday due to low visibility conditions. The flight delay comes even as the national capital is shrouded under thick layer of fog since past week.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted cold conditions at isolated places and mainly clear skies in the city. The Met Office also said smog or moderate fog at most places with dense fog at isolated places likely in the morning,

The Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) asked requested passengers to contact their concerned airline for updated flight information.

On Friday, visibility was significantly reduced in several regions which caused delays for at least 24 trains departing from Delhi along with rescheduling of flights.
