Snowfall ended after a winter storm that blanketed Kansas City with snow Tuesday moved eastward out of the region, according to the National Weather Service. While there may be some snow flurries at times on Wednesday, the weather service said no accumulation is expected.

Starting Monday night, a new blast of winter weather will see up to 10 inches of snow and wind chills as low as negative-30. The storm will plunge Missouri and Kansas into the freezing cold through Friday.

The heaviest snow is expected to fall throughout the day Tuesday. After that, the snow will be finished, but dangerous, record-breaking wind chills will stick around in Kansas City for several days.
