The multi-agency search for two teens who went missing on Oahu’s North Shore is entering its third day Monday, and authorities are also asking the public to keep an eye out for the pair.The search for 17-year-old Samantha Chun and 18-year-old Joseph “Joey” Fujioka will resume at first light Monday.

HONOLULU (Island News) -- First responders resumed their search Sunday morning for 17-year old Samantha Chun and 18-year old Joseph Fujioka. They were last seen at a Mililani convenience store on Friday. Their belongings were found at Ke iki beach on the North Shore of Oahu Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service had a high surf warning posted since yesterday for north facing shores. Ke Iki also has a reputation for being dangerous, as it claimed two lives earlier this winter. “Ke Iki beach: It’s dangerous, it’s deadly, it’s not a good swimming beach. Go to a beach where we have lifeguards,” Tinneny said.
