FOX6 News is learning more about a young boy shot and killed on Monday, Jan. 20 in the Town of Geneva. Police say the 8-year-old's stepdad is the person responsible.

An 8-year-old boy was fatally shot in the Town of Geneva on Monday and a 52-year-old man was arrested in connection with his death, according to the Town of Geneva Police Department.

After a calculation error was discovered that would have doubled the projected property tax payment, the Geneva City Council decided to rescind the measure on Jan. 21, officials said.
