Among Us VR is being transformed into a traditional 3D game for PC

Among Us VR has proven itself to be a major hit since first being released back in 2022. Now, developers Innersloth and Schell Games have announced they are rejiggering the virtual reality title for traditional PC players.

Innersloth also announced that Among Us VR is changing names in the coming months and will be renamed Among Us 3D. The studio also announced that it's launching a new in-game currency called "Stardust." Players can spend this on customization options, and this seemingly builds on the game's previous cosmetic microtransactions.

Innersloth has announced that Among Us VR, the first-person 3D version of the social deduction game, will be dropping the VR requirement and rebranding as Among Us 3D. Among Us 3D will be available for Steam as well as platforms that currently support Among Us VR.
