Apple plans to release an entry-level iPad 11 in spring 2025, which begins in March, according to a new report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

The current iPad uses the out of date A14 Bionic chipset, while the just launched iPhone 16 lineup is rocking the A18 processor. Presumably, Apple wants the entry-level iPad to have Apple Intelligence access, so expect to see an A18 on next year's version.

The most important thing about the new iPad mini is that, on the one hand, it’s a pretty minimal update. It got a better processor—the A17 Pro from last year’s Pro iPhones—and Apple supposedly fixed a display refresh problem that previously caused what is known as jellyscrolling,
