Colorado Parks and Wildlife witnessed a 1-in-100,000 elk sighting on May 12, when they shared photos of a piebald female elk out in the wild.

A female elk—called a cow—has been spotted grazing around Estes Park with patches of white fur peppering her brown coat, according to a Facebook post from Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW).
