Beyoncé provided more excitement than either game during Netflix’s NFL debut on Christmas Day. Riding into her halftime appearance on a white horse, the 32-time Grammy winner rocked her hometown Houston crowd in a nearly 13-minute performance on Wednesday.

According to NBC News, the league has prohibited all its players from any "violent gestures" that mimic "the firing of a pistol or a shotgun or a bazooka." Players can be fined for the gestures but it can also create a disadvantage during a game, resulting in a 15-yard penalty. Players are allowed to appeal the fines.

Netflix’s two Christmas day football games shattered streaming records, with more than 24 million tuning in to each game, making them the most streamed NFL games in U.S. history. Viewership for the Ravens-Texans game spiked to 27 million during Beyoncé's highly anticipated halftime performance.
