Regarding Bob Waber’s letter (“Keep focus on national debt,” Our Readers’ Views, March 22), I agree that the national debt is dangerously high and needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.

They should also look at additional silly regulations that add to the problem and not the solution to problems like housing shortage.
