FOX will carry the mammoth season-opening tilt between the Texas Longhorns and the Ohio State Buckeyes at Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Aug. 30, the network announced on Monday.

It marked the second consecutive year that the Longhorns had been eliminated in the semifinal round of the College Football Playoff. After having three chances to tie the game from the red zone, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers was sacked by linebacker Jack Sawyer, who scooped up his fumble and ran it back for an 83-yard touchdown.
