A 71-year-old woman lounging on Daytona Beach Wednesday afternoon was taken to the hospital after a driver in a pickup truck ran over her head, according to the Volusia Sheriff's Office.
The victim was crossing Franklin Ave. in the crosswalk at E. 168th St. when she was struck about 8:55 a.m. Monday, cops said.
