Traffic cameras around Chicago and Gary, Indiana are showing heavy snowbands that are creating low-visibility situations on highways there. And all that heavy snow action is headed for Michigan.

Northern Michigan is expected to see snow Friday night into Saturday, but the UP will likely not get snowfall until Sunday.

The snow was coming from a winter storm in the southeastern part of the U.S., with winter warnings and watches across multiple states.
