Paramount+ has announced it will not renew FRASIER for Season 3, meaning the revival will need to find a new home or its run will be over.

Despite the disappointing cancellation news, it has been reported by Deadline that the producer of the series, CBS Studios, plans to shop Frasier to other outlets. So, season 3 may not be coming to Paramount+ but there is the possibility that it could pop up elsewhere.

Frasier will not be returning for a third season of its revived run, after the show was cancelled by Paramount Plus. The streamer doesn’t release too much in the way of viewership figures, but how Frasier has been canned suggests it’s all down to the limited popularity of the show's recent return.

The original Frasier ran for 11 seasons on NBC, from 1993 to 2004. It won 37 Primetime Emmy Awards and was among the most-watched sitcoms of the 1990s. The first rumblings of a Frasier revival came in early 2021; Paramount+ gave it a series order in October 2022, and it premiered a year later. As is usually the case with streaming platforms, Paramount+ didn’t publicly disclose viewing figures for Frasier.
