Striking workers at Textron Aviation have agreed to a new five-year contract with the company, bringing their four-week strike to an end.

After nearly a month on strike, aviation workers in Wichita are expected to return to work after their union voted Sunday to accept the latest contract offer from Textron Aviation.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 70, Local Lodge 774 ratified a new five-year contract to end the strike at Textron Aviation.

IAM officials have yet to release ballot totals at Textron, while simultaneously preparing to ram through a deal at Boeing in a snap vote this week.
