Boston will start out with a frigid zero-degree wind chill; single digits across the suburbs. Worcester’s wind chills will be worse, plummeting to a frosty minus-5 degrees. A wind advisory issued this morning is in effect through 10 tonight for Central and Western Massachusetts.

The biggest weather story this week is going to be the wind chills — you’ll definitely need to bundle up if you head outdoors.

Another cold and blustery day is on tap Thursday with highs only in the upper 20s to mid 30s. Wind gusts to 35 mph will add an extra chill to the area.

Untreated and shaded surfaces will continue to refreeze again. Watch out for black ice creating dangerous slick spots!

If you can believe it, it’s getting even colder around here! Wednesday to Friday morning temperatures will be in the teens but with a wind chill value in the single digits, if not colder. Grab the extra layers!
