Mar 13, 2023 · Pegs, personal choice, most start with 2 and figure out the opposite stuff later on as we all have a preferred side to grind and do peg tricks on. Equally no pegs, bmx doesn’t necessarily mean you have to use pegs at all. Seat height, at least a fists worth, preferably 2 firsts worth, but results vary to what might suit your style.

Apr 1, 2019 · I wouldn't put pegs on a 24 inch, I'd put it on the 20 inch he already has which isn't a bmx bike. I guess I'm mostly wondering if pegs bought separately would even fit on a non bmx bike (still 20 inch). His is like the style of the Huffy boy's "Rock it" bike. I don't think he'll really be doing many stunts. He just thinks it's cool.

May 8, 2022 · If you want plastic pegs in the future (slide easier, don’t damage the material grinded on so you can get away with grinding public stuff) I recommend Brandon Begin’s Merritt GFE Plastic pegs; I’ve got the gigantic 4.75” ones. Have fun grinding

Mar 31, 2021 · I was surprised to find out that 1. your feet wont hit them due to your feet pointing down naturally while pedaling. 2. They probably won't interfere with almost any type of riding (besides dirt jumps). Most BMX riders have pegs and can ride basically whatever they want. I'd suggest a set if you want to improve your riding!

I bought 4 for Christmas so I can get back in to grinding this year. I bought 4 basic Cult pegs. Nothing Special, but cheap.

I weigh over 98kg, and I'm concerned that plastic pegs might not withstand my weight for long, i ride at skateparks where ledges and curbs are heavily waxed.

Nov 30, 2015 · Front axle is 3/8", rear is 14mm. So if you got the Fit pegs you'd need to make sure you get 1 3/8" peg & 1 14mm peg. The Odyssey MPEGs are great for the price since you get a pair of pegs for almost the same price as just 1 Fit peg, and they come with 3/8" adapters so you're set either way.

I'm running my own custom machined 7075-t6 alloy pegs. 7075 is a lot harder and stronger than 6061, and are about half the weight of steel pegs, but more expensive and still softer than steel, so perfect for park riding and hand rails, but no good for unwaxed or rough concrete.
