Take a small bowl and fill it with warm/hot but tolerable water with epsom salt, about 1/2 teaspoon. Dip your nipple in the solution and gently squeeze your breast while your nipple is in the solution. You should see your milk flow into the bowl.

Jan 2, 2025 · My understanding is that the haakaa lady bug is a milk collector that sits in your bra while the baby nurses off the other side to collect milk that leaks from the non-nursing side. This works great for women who leak a lot and is an “easy” way to build up a milk storage.

I have a heavy supply, but between the ladybug and the 2 haakaas I bought, we waste no milk in this house and generate about 5-6oz minimum extra everyday exclusively breastfeeding, no pumping at all unless I get engorged.

Jan 27, 2024 · Loved my Haakaa ladybugs last time, haven't tried any others to compare but had no issues with the ladybugs and I was a serious boob leaker so they got used all the time. I would recommend getting two if you haven't already bought a pair or weren't planning on it.
