May 12, 2023 · I just played a battlegrounds game where I got triple blade collector. And it was only after the game finished that I noticed the art of the tripled blade collector changed to the art of Cap’n Rokara. Has anyone else seen this? I wasn’t able to check whether its effect changed but I would guess not.

Sep 27, 2023 · Blade Collector: Much like the Foe Reaper, this is such a waste of board space when tripled, and so I took the liberty of enhancing the triple version to damages adjacent minions, AND during the next combat, cleaves all cards out of your own hand.

Dec 6, 2024 · I find that class and hero balance in Hearthstone Battlegrounds is pretty hit or miss across the seasons, and I think pirates could be improved by adding a activation qualifier to the Blade Collector.

When getting triples on Tier 4, You can potentially get either Glowscale or Corrupted Myrmidon from Tier 5. The only one you should look for is Glowscale. It can provide your board with Divine Shield, which is crucial in the late game.

Oct 22, 2023 · The best minions to grab are either Sellemental or Shell Collector. If neither is available, go for one with Reborn, Divine Shield, or Deathrattle. Otherwise, grab the minion with the best stats overall. If you get crazy lucky and have a triple in the Tavern, freeze them and wait until Turn 4 (6 gold) to buy the rest.

They also feature the cheapest Cleave minion in the form of Blade Collector. Pirates are the original APM (meaning high-speed buying/cycling of cards) minion type.
