Dudley Castle. The motte and bailey construction of Dudley Castle was completed in 1070 by Ansculf de Picquigny (northern France). He was succeeded by the Paganel family during the 12th century who became Lords of Dudley.

The Red House Glass Cone stands 100ft tall in the Stourbridge Glass Quarter which has been home to glassmaking for more than 400 years.

Visiting Dudley Castle. Overlooking the town of Dudley, Dudley Castle is a ruined medieval castle built after the Norman Invasion. It sits on a limestone outcrop in the Black Country Geopark. After years of rebuilding and demolitions, the ruins are within Dudley Zoological Gardens.
