The City of Fort Worth reserves athletic facilities for games, practices and other special events. Groups or individuals interested in reserving a practice field (athletic field, baseball, softball, backstop, or other ball sport field) may do so through the city’s ActiveNet page.

Today, the park has numerous recreational facilities including baseball, softball, and soccer fields, shelters, grill, miles of trails, and Fort Woof, the city’s first off-leash dog park. Soccer fields were renovated in 2005.

Gateway Park has so many soccer fields, you’d think this was primarily a soccer complex with other amenities on the side. In total, you’ll find at least eight fields; all full-size, all for 11v11.

Just 2 miles from Downtown Fort Worth, Gateway Park offers a wide variety of outdoor activities. Sporting facilities include soccer and baseball fields, a full disc gold course, several mountain biking trails, and a kayak/canoe launch.

Field Soccer Field Airport Freeway (SH 183) Soccer Field From 1-30: Exit Beach Street and Head North to East 1 st Street — DO NOT TAKE THE EXIT TO GATEWAY off BEACH STREET. Take right (head EAST) at East to Streams and Valleys. Take right at Streams and Valleys to Players Parkway. Take right at Players parkway to Gateway Park parking lot.

Once in the park, turn right on Riverbank Rd, and park on the right side of the road, or use one of the parking lots. Note there's an alternate entrance to Gateway from 2nd street - do not use it since it doesn't connect to the southern half of the park where we play. No games.
