James Stonehouse (born in Krugersdorp, South Africa) is a South African rugby union coach and the head coach of Currie Cup side the Pumas. [1] As a player, Stonehouse played hooker for South Eastern Transvaal.

Dec 15, 2022 · In a poll run after the SA Rugby Coach of the Year nominees were announced on Wednesday, one of them being Stonehouse, 51% voted that the long-time Pumas mentor deserved to be crowned the best in the country. A former champion bodybuilder, the 58-year-old from Krugerdorp led the Mpumalanga outfit to a maiden Currie Cup title in June 2022.
