Jan 11, 2016 · The McKendree women’s soccer team won won six of its 10 AMC regular season championships while playing at Leemon Field. Since 2005, the Bearcats have won over 86 percent of their home contests. The AMC Outdoor Track and Field Championship was held at Leemon Field from 2008-2011.

Dec 19, 2024 · – Second-year head coach Jason Rejfek and McKendree University is excited to announce their 2025 football schedule. The slate sees the Bearcats competing in 11 games, including five at Leemon Field.

McKendree Football Camps are held at Leemon Football Field on the McKendree University campus in Lebanon, Illinois. McKendree Football Camps are led by Head Coach Mike Babcock and the Bearcats Football coaching staff.

The McKendree men’s soccer team won three American Midwest Conference regular season championships since the program began playing at Leemon Field in 2005. The men’s soccer team is 43-12-8 at Leemon Field for a win percentage of 74.6 percent on its home turf.

Currently, Leemon Field is home to McKendree’s football, men’s and women’s soccer, and women’s lacrosse programs. “The combination fiber field will give the best combination of playability and durability for our student-athletes,” said equipment manager and project coordinator Brad Oster ’98, MBA ’06 .

McKendree football celebrated its 25th season of the return of intercollegiate football on Oct. 15th, after a two-year delay due to the COVID pandemic. Several players returned and were honored on the field during half-time.
