This is a great lake on which to boat or jet ski. At the north end of the lake is a nice park with lots of people picnicking and swimming. My favorite thing is the estuarine waterways at the north end where you can canoe or kayak for miles in pristine flat water with lot of wildlife.

This deep alpine lake right in the heart of downtown McCall is perfect for summer boating, sailing, jet skiing, and swimming. When it comes to kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding, however, locals know that Payette Lake plays second fiddle to the North Fork of the Payette River.

The Meanders are located in McCall, ID on the north end of Payette lake. From downtown McCall you head west out of town and them turn north on Warren Wagon road. North Beach boat launch is on the right about 8 miles from the turn.
