Sep 22, 2021 · Jumped back in after a while and it's the first time really playing without my paddles on my PS4. Just curious if anyone has a decent option for paddles on the ps5. Edit March 2022 - I installed the extremerate rise 2.0 back button attachment a couple days after this post and it's still going strong. Highly recommended.

It worked great for CoD, was sturdy and had more functionality than I needed. I’m struggling to play on the PS5 controller now and apparently there is no official attachment (yet).

Nov 21, 2021 · The console is over a year old and I still can't find a back button attachment for the DualSense. My only options seem to be either buy a kit where you have to take the controller apart or buy a pro controller for $200+. Are there really no plug in ones available? I know Sony patented one in early 2021 but there's been nothing said about it since.

Jun 4, 2021 · I have a ps5. I use a dualshock 4 controller with the back button attachment for warzone and other PS4 games. It was the more economical choice Vs a scuf controller. It won't work with PS5 games though, and it'll tell you to connect a dualsense to start the app.

In the camera shot in the reveal which shows the “Sony” label on the back. The angle is from the top left towards the bottom right. You would think if it had 4 paddles, one would be visible there. Jul 18, 2023 · I just got a ps5 and I previously used paddles on a ps4 controller. However ob my ps4 controller I had cheap $10 paddles that just plugged into the headphone port and worked great. I am not seeing anything like that for the ps5. All i see are ones where I have to take the controller apart or pay $200 for a scuff/ps version for paddles.
