@Fgrrgreds, you can't get to the hospital lot by the map because the hospital is hidden. Instead, you get there by clicking on the Sim that is in labor. There should be an option to go to the hospital. For people who don't have the Get to Work EP, they will just disappear for a little while and come back with a baby, or have the baby at home.

everytime i try to have my baby at the hospital the doctor leaves and my sim stands in the lobby of the hospital waiting and screaming. the nurses and assistant cant help her. i have tried restarting my game but the doctor keeps leaving. how can i make her have the baby at the hospital

There should be 5 or 6 beds on the right side of the hospital as you go in the front door if you're using the standard hospital. (I don't recommend using a custom-made hospital.) It's a little confusing that you found a patient to treat but you couldn't find any to …

Ok so I just got the Sims 4 get to work like a week ago, much like other people have. The one thing I've noticed that is super annoying is that when I go to the hospital with my sims to have a baby it won't let me check in at the front desk. My sims ends up just standing there with many other just waiting.

So i was playing the sims as you do, my sim went into labor, sent her to the hospital (using get to work) and when she got there she just wouldnt check in or go and have her baby, the pop up that says 'have baby at hospital' come up 3 times even though she was there and even after reseting the sim she still stood there clutching her belly.

My sims that go into labor can't check in at the hospital. My doctors are not given the option to join at the hospital. I have GTW installed. I tried removing mods and starting a new save. Running a game repair now.
