You don't need the spears to 'trade well' with enemy infantry, you need them to hold while you use other units to do damage.

Aug 31, 2017 · Try the Bravo swashbuckler archetype. It uses the dueling sword with is also a slightly curved sword, and the archetype gives the class a nice flair.
