St. Walter-St. Benedict Catholic School is located on two campuses, in Blue Island and Chicago. We offer Pre-K at both campuses, K-4th Grades at the Chicago Campus, and 5th - 8th grade at the Blue Island Campus.

2024-25 School Year. Online Enrollment for Preschool has begun. Preschool is for 3 and 4 year olds, and the student must be that age as of September 1st. Monsignor Dennis J. Lyle was ordained a priest in 1991 for the Archdiocese of Chicago. He has served in parish ministry, taught in the seminary, and worked in the Office of Vicar for Priests. When the communities of St. Benedict, St. Peter Claver and St. Walter formed St. Mary Magdalene Parish in 2021 he was named pastor.
