Agree 100%. I've known several people (including myself!) who didn't want anything to do with a VR device, but then were talked into playing Bogo and were completely blown over. AND went and ordered an Oculus. I can't think of another game that will have the same effect.

They should port Farlands to Quest, definitely doable based on Bogo and some of the other games and probably a much wider audience for that type of game than on the Cv1 originally. In fact they should probably port Oculus Dreamdeck as well, still a great demo to show people.

Dec 23, 2021 · Whitewater VR: Extreme Kayaking Adventure is a VR game developed using Unreal Engine 5 with realistic visuals and physics. The developer is currently focusing on the PCVR version, but is investigating whether a release for PSVR2 would be an option.

Mar 15, 2024 · Bogo is was :( a free virtual pet game. It was some kind of alien lizard/dog-like thing. You could feed it and play fetch and do a couple of other things. There wasn't a whole lot to it, but it was the first thing I had my daughter try in VR.

Sep 15, 2023 · Bogo was designed in a way that wasnt durable for a game - her height and head size were designed so that Hugo/MZ wouldnt need to bend down on stage, for instance, to pet her! Designing a creature from scratch for a game is gonna take what we learned for sure. The sad thing to me is that it's part of Oculus/Meta/FB -- hell, VR!! -- history.
