Feb 14, 2024 · Recently I changed my android phone and I want access my outlook and it is asking me to enter code from authenticator app. when I installed and opened authenticator app for code, the app itself asking for the code. I am surprised and wonder that I opened authenticator app for the code to access my outlook and the app itself asking the code.

The only thing I see that is causing this is I've removed the device from the registered devices before on the work account. I need help logging in on the browser and possibly my app to generate a code.

I expected that it would ask me to enter the 6 digit code generated by the app into the web page. Instead the web page asked me to enter a 2 digit code code into the app. Nowhere in the app is there a place where a code can be entered.

Aug 3, 2015 · It keeps saying "Because you've turned on two-step verification, we need top verify your identity. Enter the code generated by your authenticator app." I don't have the code. When I select the option for "get code a different way," it wants to email and/or text my old phone (which is completely dead and useless).
