In addition, we now have a Geographic Information System (GIS) parcel base map to provide detailed and up-to-date property ownership maps. This information is used for field inspections, to analyze property data and give our staff another tool for comparing similar properties.

The GIS Division is located on the second floor of City Hall, someone will be available to assist with map request between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The GIS group does map requests for the public and custom GIS requests for the various Lafayette Consolidated Government departments and external agencies.
