Feb 23, 2021 · GMT900 2007-2014 Suburbans, Tahoe, Yukon, XL are great trucks and a very capable platform just like the GMT800 2000-2006 platform they replaced. Everyone seems to keep on dreaming about the 2500 truck as the ultimate vehicle, unfortunately it's not. 1500 platform is superior.

Feb 23, 2021 · I also like the GMT900 seats, which are more firm than the seats in my GMT800, and the ease of adding the DIC buttons to a base truck to get actual TPMS readings and other stuff. I don't care for auto climate controls, and both our trucks luckily have the manual version. The GMT800 has dual zone controls, while the GMT900 has only one zone.

Feb 17, 2025 · While the interior cabin of the gmt900 is less tech heavy, its still a great truck. I've seen the 2015 and up suburbans and Tahoes. They do not have the same interior as the K2 trucks. Feb 23, 2021 · Anyone else building GMT900’s? I’m potentially looking at a 2013 Tahoe for ski trips and glamping mobile. Very keen on one that’s for sale—nice color and Z71 package. Only mods it’ll get are small lift, 33’s, full length roof rack, and a dongle to deactivate AFM.

Mar 30, 2009 · For my 3" body lift and these 33s on a gmt900, I had to trim the plastic AND use zip ties to pull the liner back as far as it would go. If I just tried to pull the liner back they would still rub when turning the wheel. My wheels are only 9 wide with 5.7" backspace too. I'd need more than 3" if I went with 5.0 backspace without a doubt.
