George Gill Range is a mountain range in the southern part of Australia's Northern Territory, 215 km (134 mi) southwest of Alice Springs. It is an extension of the MacDonnell Ranges and consists mainly of sandstone. In the southern part of the range there are some springs and water holes.

Jul 5, 2019 · In the Kings Canyon Resort we had a family room with five beds and view to the George Gill Range. There was a sunset viewing platform a short walk from our accommodation. But the kids did not have patience so we left already before sunset.

Each of those ridges lined up in a row is one of the offspring, while the mother’s sprawling body is the ancient, worn George Gill Range topped by Carmichaels Crag.
