Aug 7, 2021 · Jhoira is going to be a really big threat, so you need to make sure your deck will function if she isn't on board. I would cut some of those for some general consistency cards I'll talk about below. As a general rule, you want around 10 cards each for removal, ramp, and card draw, plus 3-4 board wipes.

May 10, 2018 · If Jhoira gets countered a couple of times we have other outs such as Scepter combo or KCI combo (although not recommended because it is 5 cards) that we can use. But that is a problem with the deck, and with most Izzet commanders, is if they are kept off the field, the deck will struggle.

Jhoira’s simplicity and versatility enables so much, but all we hear (and see on EDHrec) is cheerios, infinite combo, cEDH, etc. I urge you to give Jhoira another look, maybe you will have a new perspective.

Nowadays, depending on how you build her, Jhoira is pretty much outclassed in every single way by either: [[Elsha of the infinite]] who has a added color, does artifact storm better and shurtcuts the top+cost reducer combo by one.

I've seen people say that [[Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain]] is really flexible as a commander but so far I've only really seen people suggest the cheerios route with bunch of sac outlets like [[Krark-Clan Ironworks]] with storm wincons, or stax.

Apr 28, 2018 · So, reading your comment, and having played a Jhoira deck since she was leaked, I believe that the only way you can really get a storm-type Jhoira deck (which it seems you are going for) to work is by putting every 0 mana artifact in the game, so that once you power Jhoira onto the board, you can consistently cycle through your deck and win.
