Who or what is Kaldra exactly? : r/mtgvorthos - Reddit
Feb 23, 2021 · So, Kaldra was probably an artifact creature, given its colorlessness, indestructibility and home plane. A golem that somehow infused an imprint of itself into its equipment is the most basic answer; Kaldra's a blacksmith and these are the 3 things they made. My preferred headcanon is that Kaldra was the Worldsoul of Argentum.
Kaldra Token - Custom Card Creation - MTG Salvation
May 16, 2010 · Sword of Kaldra, and as a result the Kaldra token, have an inherent issue to them anyway. The ability that exiles a creature whenever it deals damage to it will rarely actually do anything; if the creature is dealt more damage than its toughness, it will be put into the graveyard by state-based effects before the exile trigger can resolve.
Kaldra Compleat not exiling creatures? : r/ModernMagic - Reddit
Jun 4, 2021 · The game is then looking for the creatures dealt damage by the creature Kaldra compleat is equipped to in order to exile them. But they don't exist, those creatures are gone and 2 creatures cards with the same name exist in the graveyard so nothing happens. Kaldra Compleat Question : r/Magicdeckbuilding - Reddit
Feb 23, 2022 · A creature equipped with kaldra only requires 1 damage to exile an opposing creature assuming the opposing creature doesnt have first strike, however any leftover damage would not go to the defending player, that extra damage either fizzles or would go into the next creature if it was blocked by more than one. Sorry for the extra question!
How to Proceed with a Kaldra Deck? - MTG Salvation
Feb 11, 2016 · True on the exile, but my main point there was the theme. If you build a sisay or godo deck, it won't feel like a Kaldra deck - it will feel like a sisay or godo deck, that happens to run a Kaldra set. If you build a kaldra deck, and get your group to accept Kaldra damage as Commander damage, I think that's far more thematic.
Kaldra Equipment - Magic Rulings Archives - MTG Salvation
Aug 1, 2008 · The fact that it stops you from playing any of the creature's activated abilities doesn't mean it stops you from playing any of the equipments' activated abilities. You can definitely pay 1 to put another Kaldra into play. The two Kaldra would blow up, the enchantment would go to your opponent's graveyard, and you can then make another one.

Mar 22, 2024 · My thoughts exactly. While this is an overall better creature than Batterskull, the cost difference is huge. I typically don't fetch up Batterskull with an early Stoneforge Mystic due to the blowout risk, and this just exacerbates that blowout risk.
