Aug 5, 2021 · My Sculpt mouse suddenly started missing left-clicks. I took it apart and notice wear on the end plastic shaft that hangs from the bottom of the mouse cover (the bottom item circled in red in the above frame of the video) that pushes the actual button inside the mouse. One of the points of the plus sign shaped contact was worn down.

I attached an external hard drive that held recovery disk information, and suddenly my Dell desktop stopped recognizing my mouse -- any mouse, wired or wifi, attached to any USB. Both mice check out fine with my laptop.

Dec 28, 2024 · In Device Manager, right-click on your mouse device and select Uninstall device. Restart your computer; Windows should automatically reinstall the driver. If issues still persist, we can also try doing a roll back of the update. Open Settings by pressing Windows + I. Go to Update & Security, then select View Update History.

Feb 7, 2023 · Is there mouse software installed in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features? Uninstall it to see if the problem stops. This is unneeded bloatware. Adjust the mouse settings in Settings > Devices > Mouse, checking all settings including the Additonal Mouse Options box - check Settings on all tabs. Try disabling Mouse acceleration:

Sep 7, 2019 · So yesterday, all of a sudden, my mouse (Logitech G502) left click seems to be too sensitive. When I click it, it seems to double click even if I didn't. I've had this mouse for 10 months, and only yesterday it started. I thought it was the hardware causing the issue, but I tested another mouse (Wireless Microsoft Mouse) and it still had the issue.

Jun 29, 2020 · I also have the same issue. I have two pairs of the ergonomic mouse/keyboard set, one works fine and the other set is not. Mouse is not working and I have to press super hard. I had it for less than a year, wonder if there would be a replacement. Yes - I have exactly the same problem. I have to press really hard to get the mouse buttons to work.

Feb 16, 2019 · How should I repair my mouse, if there is a way to? At first I thought of plastic welding, but I thought that was a little extreme. What would you suggest? Feb 10, 2021 · As the mouse is out of warranty I want to open it and put something between the surface that I press and the actual button, which is how I´ve solved this problem in the past. I´ve watched some videos online, but they refer to older models of the Arc Mouse and mine doesn´t have two screws under the sticker where the batteries go.
