Dec 4, 2022 · Hi. Apparently yeah, it was a hardware issue. I tried to reset it a few more times and at one point the startup animation started breaking up, with green pixels and weird artifacts all over the image. Dead GPU probably. The good news is that the reseller didn't have any problem changing the unit for a new one after checking the problem.

PS5 is making loud noise because people leave the game disc inside for a long time without removing it. Whenever you are about to turn off the PS5 make sure you eject and remove the disc. Do not leave it inside while Off put your game disc in its case. Turn off PS5 without the disc inside and insert it when you're in the PS5 home menu only.

May 26, 2021 · Use your PS5 as normal It is absurd to have to do all this to get rid of the beep. An option to disable the beep on startup from standby would be GREAT! I hope this helps someone.
