The Plymouth Green, located within the Plymouth Center Local Historic District, is a rectangular greensward at the northwest corner of the intersection of Main (Route 6) and North Streets. It is bordered on the north by Park Street which is incorporated into the green on the west side.

All events take place on the beautiful Plymouth Green, a traditional New England village listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Admission is free. Plymouth Reservoir Recreation Area (PRRA)

Plymouth Green was created in 1747 of approximately four acres of land transferred through Caleb Humaston to the Society of Northbury by the Town of Waterbury to be used as a Parade and Burial Ground.

Nov 24, 2024 · PLYMOUTH – The town of Plymouth will have its annual Tree Lighting and Caroling Festival Dec. 7 on the town green. The festival will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the town green at 10 Park St. on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Take this self-guided walking tour of the village of Plymouth Center, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The walking tour includes the Burying Ground, where there are gravestones of 38 soldiers from the Revolutionary War.
