Aug 30, 2023 · If you cant find a Ryzen 5 3600 or better for an equivalent price, go for it. If it doesn't cost a lot more to go Ryzen 5 3600 or better, go with that instead, the step up between second and third gen ryzen in gaming is pretty large

I updated BIOS on Asus Prime B550m-A yesterday with Ryzen 7 2700X from version 1203 to version 2423. Now I can run Ryzen 5 5600G without any problem. Before updating Bios it didnt even post. I hope I helped someone 🙃😉

Ryzen 7 2700X is an old processor. If you compare it to a much newer processor (i.e. Ryzen 7 5800X or Core i7-11700K) then Ryzen 7 2700X doesn't look so good. Reply reply
