Picked up a 22' klx140rl 3 days ago. It was guttless stock and had a off idle blubber. Rejet, slotting the fuel mixture screw (so its adjustable), airox drilled and baffle removed really woke it up. However this made the off idle blubber worse.

Replace the stock 38 pilot jet with a 40. Replace the stock 95 pilot jet with a 100. Replace the float mechanism. Ensure the float needle is properly located. (You will test it for proper function later). If dirty, clean the float bowl with carburetor cleaner.

Apr 23, 2016 · I replaced the stock main jet with a 105 and the pilot with a 42. I also removed the exhaust baffle/spark arrester. I modified the airbox lid by drilling five 1 inch holes into it and installed Uni airbox vents in them.

May 7, 2022 · The stock pipe can flow the volume of gases produced by the bike up to 7,000 rpm, where it hits max power. Stock pipe drops off pretty quick after that. ProCircuit carries about 1hp more to 8,000 where it redlines.
