With that said, I am equally excited about the concept of Terraria 2 and will love to learn more about it when the time comes for it. Jan 30, 2025 · When I heard that Terraria will be translated into Japanese with “Terraria State of the Game”, as a Japanese player I am happy, but at the same time I fear that the Japanese translation of ver 1.4.5 will be as childish as the Switch, PS4 and mobile versions. They don't translate using Kanji for some reason.

Oct 6, 2020 · Perhaps Terraria 2 will come out, but probably not anytime soon. People have been talking about it way before 1.2 ever came out, and nothing has come into fruition as of yet. Personally, I can't imagine a sequel to Terraria since the game seems so "complete" as it is right now. I have similar thoughts for Minecraft as well.

May 8, 2022 · You cant even put overwatch 2 and path of exile 2 in the same sentence, they are not remotely the same. I even think this will be becoming more common because those are specifically live service games, not single player games. Terraria 2 wouldnt be an update, it would be in a new engine with a new "story" and everything.

Mar 29, 2019 · I don't want Terraria 2. Terraria is fine, and the lore is basically paper-thin and added after the fact. It simply isn't at all necessary to continue it as an IP franchise. I want any sequel to be a gameplay and general mechanics successor, but making what is explicitly 'Terraria 2' would carry expectations with it.
