Remember when Rahm Emmanuel, the mayor of Chicago went on National TV and broke down crying over what a "fair and decent man" Biden was. I have NEVER before ir since heard someone referred to as a xenophobic. It was the word of the day.

The capitalism that exists today is almost fascism with the way that corporate lobbyists are in the governments pocket and the government officials are beholden to the corporations. Jun 28, 2020 · Guardrails such as antitrust, public infrastructure, and corporate regulation are obviously present in the US to a small degree. We don't have unfettered capitalism here. When I brought up unfettered capitalism and communism, I meant to rule out the extremes of the spectrum to arrive at the premise for the discussion: choosing a middle ground.

I asked how a country that was rated 91 on Heritage's economic freedom rankings (with Heritage being a think tank guilty of promoting unfettered capitalism) was really so unfettered.
