Yuantouzhu (Chinese: 鼋头渚; pinyin: Yuán tóu zhǔ) is a peninsula which lies on the northwestern shore of Lake Tai, near Wuxi in China 's Jiangsu province. It was established as a park in 1916 and celebrated its centennial in 2016. [1]

Yuantouzhu, called Turtle Head Island, is endowed with gorgeous natural scenery of Taihu Lake, with amazing cherry blossom, green hills and clear water. Type: National AAAAA Tourist Attraction; Lake Scenery. Best Seasons: March to October, especially in March and April for the International Cherry Blossom Festival.

The Anzhu Islands or Anjou Islands (Russian: Oстрова Анжу, romanized: Ostrova Anzhu; Yakut: Анжу арыыларa, romanized: Anju arıılara) are an archipelago and geographical subgroup of the New Siberian Islands archipelago. They are located between the Laptev Sea and the East Siberian Sea in the Arctic Ocean.

It is a small peninsula resembling a turtle head located in the northwest of Taihu Lake in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, hence the name. Famous for its beautiful scenery, especially cherry blossoms, the place attracts lots of tourists every year.
