Nov 8, 2017 · I just found my old iPod touch (A1318). I charged it up and turned it on, but it says "iPod Disabled - Connect to iTunes". When I plug it into my computer (Windows), the driver software downloads, My Computer reads the device, but it doesn't show up in iTunes.

If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library.
