Jul 12, 2024 · Maybach is made in Europe, Eastman is MiC. Maybach uses mahogany für neck and body, Eastman uses Okoume, a cheaper lighter wood. Pickups on the Maybach are made by Amber, a well respected winder in Germany. The Maybach is nitro, the Eastman is not. I would take the Maybach in a heartbeat.

Regarding the guy who stripped it, all he would have needed to do to confirm is it was Korina or not was look in the pickup cavities and routs.
