Btw, I've read the books by Diana Gabaldon too, so I might be biased a bit in my enjoying the series. Interestingly enough, I didn't like the second book either, it was the most boring of all books. Once you get past that, the books pick up once again (just like the original Outlander novel) again. Just hated the whole France thing.

Apr 9, 2023 · First and foremost Outlander is a historic romance series at it's core. The characters and setting all get explored in detail. The "traveling back in time" thing is more of a plot device in order to have fun with the narrative of a woman living in the past who is literally ahead of her time in the way she acts and thinks.
Anybody else starting to get really bored by this show?
A show filled with just drama and little character develolment sucks more than the other way around. I would rather have a few more boring episodes if that will pay off when the action comes vs have things happen really quickly. I mean, look at what they did to Game of Thrones. I am glad that in Outlander they still focus on the little details.

A used ICE Outlander, I'd make sure it was under 30k miles, get an independent inspection, check the CVT fluid color (it should be a opaque dark green, and immediately get the CVT serviced after purchase. You do all that and you got a good SUV.

It also says Part 2 DVD will be released in the Fall, but the S7B premiere isn’t until November 22. They aren’t going to release a DVD before the episodes air.
