Nov 24, 2024 · George Lucas and Hasbro managed to transcend societal changes and economic volatility from 1978 to 2012 (admittedly, they done messed up with that TPM 3D debacle). Nevertheless, Disney with Hasbro has sucked all the life out of the brand in less than a decade. Edit: I'll add one more caveat to the benefit of the doubt for current Hasbro.

Jul 21, 2011 · Hasbro reposted the clip from the livestream where Ryan listed off whats new construction. Notably, they changed the cut/construction of the crotch and hips to get more range for crouching poses, apparently a new torso with more range, and a barbell neck inside the chest.

Aug 22, 2019 · For a company like Hasbro, early birds like that are a quick way to needlessly burn goodwill. If it's a small company doing a kickstarter and offering something for the first hundred backers or something like that as a "thanks for believing in us from the very beginning" is cool. From someone like Hasbro it feels like "work faster!"

Aug 22, 2019 · Considering I never expected Hasbro to continue the Plasma line, I'm glad I didnt sell off all my figures when I realized we weren't getting more at the time. I fully expected just the base Ecto 1 and maybe a re-release of figures to go with it, so I initially counted myself out. I have the Blitzway Ecto which is the centerpiece of my collection.

Jul 21, 2011 · Beyond that I still feel hasbro could offer more accessories. Deadpool in particular would have benefitted from some more hands. I also would have liked a Ryan Reynolds alternate head. Maybe even a Nicepool (but I expect hasbro will sell an entirely new figure). It would also have been nice if they had some swappable sleeveless arms for Wolverine.

Jul 21, 2011 · Granted, hasbro has to put the effort in and make the figure overall something special, which to me includes adding accessories and making it feel like a whole complete package. Mafex is doing preorders for an MCU Killmonger. I don't picture hasbro going the extra mile for any Killmonger figures, so its not exactly a competition there.

Aug 22, 2019 · Hasbro's noncommittal stance on additional Plasma Series items is honestly a turnoff from this campaign for me. The campaign not being a runaway success thus far isn't helping that feeling. Hopefully I'm wrong and you guys get those additional figures.
